Name: TraumaHawk
Faction: Autobot (but sometimes, we wonder if he’d fit in better w/ Decepticons when he’s causing mischief)
“Listen up, my armed and combative friends, calm down, okay?! Stop blowing stuff up; not everything is some kind of attack on everyone and their respective factions that needs to end in the destruction of everything and their grand-creator, so pour out a bit of energon, put on a nice soothing music holotrack, sit for a spell, and chill out!”
Alternate Mode: A (customized) air ambulance w/ a tricked-out tail (has lots of additional colorful patterns painted all over onto the décor of the real Traumahawks of Palm Beach County) + an added built-in removable container (payload = whatever he wants; container itself resembles a boxy water tank) [Air ambulance = aircraft used for emergency medical assistance where either normal ambulances can’t easily/quickly reach the scene or the patient needs to be repositioned at a distance where air transportation is most practical]
Holoform: Travis Schuldt (a la Keith Dudemeister)
Galactic Powers:
- Armed w/ a nice big weighty reinforced fighting hatchet + knows how to use it—sometimes in ways that really shouldn’t be utilized for a tool of that mass/power/caliber; magnabond “stripes” running along his sides, arms, legs—most of himself, actually—allow him to grip that sucker in far too many ways, including between his ankles while performing high-speed gymnastic flips! [Hatchet = most of the mass of his tail, hence why TraumaHawk’s not that much taller than Arson]
-Is specially calibrated to be both quite strong and able to perform amazing stunts w/ plenty of ease; reinforced energy cables built into his forearms + retractable climbing spikes built into his ankles allow him to scale anything and swing around like he was built to be an acrobat (and gives him an excuse to yell like Tarzan whenever he wants...)—all a gymnast's grace + a bodybuilder's strength, w/ the face + manner of a charmer (ladies’ mech...it’s always the ones w/ the Cajun twang...or when ranting, a British accent like Marcus Brigstocke’s, whose humor he dearly loves. Actually, TraumaHawk tends to change accents like a model changes clothes—result of Dazzle and him moving all over Creation)
-Has a wide background in physics + all manner of kinetic studies and possesses great scientific (among other things) knowledge—FireWire’s family raised a damn fine mech...Wait, WHAT?!!
Backstory: Uh-oh, who forgot to tell Arson that he had a brother? A smart, talented, charming, fit as a fiddle, and pretty damn good-looking older brother at that? There’s going to be the Pit to pay...if TraumaHawk was, in fact, directly related to Arson. Turns out TraumaHawk is what happens when mecha who marry into the family (specifically FireWire’s family) + and later get disowned (for perfectly sound + appropriate reasons, though, so phooey on them) decide to keep the kid...and decide to give said sparkling all the best resources/education + as much knowledge as possible in order to someday get back @ said family. Luckily, TraumaHawk was far from a fool; he knew what was going on, and when he was grown enough, took off as soon as possible. It turns out that while you may be pretty well-trained to survive in whatever environment you’ve happened to be in, sometimes it pays to look like a poor piteous starving streetcrawler + accept help from whoever’s willing to give it—in this case, a nearby Autobot base. Now, TraumaHawk was more up-to-date on current events...but was willing to ignore that for a chance to shake up all those stuffy ranks he kept hearing about. Oh, Primus...it’s Skippy all over again...[as in the (im)famous Skippy from Skippy’s List…‘course, the real Skippy didn’t intentionally join the armed forces in order to screw w/ ‘em as much as possible...]
Bio: TraumaHawk is a might unusual. Like Arson, he’s not the best present-time buff (but he’s still a lot more up-to-date; he does his research!), and he also knows about pretty much everything else. Unlike Arson, TraumaHawk was raised to be less of a traditional noblemech, but still well-mannered + far from a nasty/snobbish stereotype. Yes, his creator spoiled him…but more importantly, she taught him, trained him, raised him…Dazzle was the Lady Heather + Nicole Wallace to Firewire’s Gil Grissom + Robert Goren (except the extreme quirkiness/general neuroses were greatly absent) and the most vengeful literati ever to be associated w/ FireWire’s family (possibly the most vengeful literati ever), and she made damn sure that her son was just as educated + learned, if not more, as herself and anyone in FireWire’s family, and worked TraumaHawk down to the fibers of his alloys. That part of the plan worked…and then TraumaHawk realized just what the Pit was going on + got the *bleep* out of there. It was here in transit that he perfected his filching, which made him look like a poor, yet kind of adorable, street mech…which led to his being taken in by a base of some rather kind Autobots. Good spirits abounded, until the Great War years, when everything started going to the Pit. While still being employed by Sacred Spark Hospital, TraumaHawk “enlisted” (work-study medical/jack-of-all-trades position), and while he’s a fun mech to pal around with who’s more out for hi-jinks, fun, and utilizing his knowledge + skills than being a hero (he’s content to lay around in the background + enjoy his extra downtime), TraumaHawk’s very smart and if he does something positive + memorable, he never lets fame get to his head…because, quite frankly, TraumaHawk is a borderline lazyaft. Sure, he’s generous and sticks up for others and provides great morale, but TraumaHawk’s more concerned w/ being able to relax, and wishes that everyone would just calm down and take a slagging break. While he never acts that way when there’s a fiasco/srs bsness (i.e., when he has to be a field medic in the middle of a firefight or something comparable to that), thanks to his life and times w/ Dazzle, he tries to avoid work whenever possible and watch/read/listen to/generally indulge in comedic performances, among other personal amusements—like recharging until the apocalypse comes. TraumaHawk gets along pretty well w/ his considered brother/family Arson; both think Dazzle was both a dratted turbo-vixen and a brilliant foil + companion to FireWire, barring that whole vengeance-obsession thing (and thankfully, he hasn’t got anything past friendly feelings for Arson’s Autobot “girlfriend”; he does try to help things along + set them up...which ends up being more comical than anything else.)
This is strictly a fictional journal created for roleplaying purposes. It is based on the Transformers Animated universe (even though TraumaHawk looks much more G1-ish). Entries that make up this particular journal do not necessarily correspond to anything else TraumaHawk may have said somewhere else.
